@Quasit Another reason I love Ms. Kavanaugh is because she saw how much pain I was in, being ostracized from gym. She talked to the school principal & asked if I could be her assistant volleyball team coach. That was how I started to be included in school sports/athletics. I traveled with the team & after proving that I'm not a useless disabled kid, I became an assistant school soccer coach too. This all helped to improve my overall well-being, my self confidence & it laid stepping stones for me to empower myself in the future.

Giornata un po’ triste, ma suppongo che domani sarà ancora peggio.
Ho appena finito di impacchettare regali per ben due maestri di mio figlio che, da dopo le vacanze di Pasqua, non insegneranno più in quella scuola.
È un colpo al cuore perché trovare maestri bravi a cui i bambini si affezionano tanto, è raro davvero.
E il fatto che gli si voglia regalare qualcosa che ricordi quanto siano stati importanti per loro, è tanta roba.
Ci perderemo un po’ tutti da questa separazione.
