For the Drakensberg I need to have full rain cover. Required it two years ago and it was the difference between helping others and barely surviving the cold & driving high-altitude rain.

I am using the Berghaus Deluge overtrousers for this which I bought in the UK about 10yrs ago. Still works!

Neither sexy nor comfortable the #Berghaus #Munro is the perfect size for the job, rugged and reliable in its simplicity.

Mine has over 25 years old. It’s been all over the UK, Europe, Russia, Africa, Asia, North America and the High Arctic. It’s been up mountains and down mines, through streams, behind waterfalls, seen all the weather you can imagine, been dropped, kicked, rolled down hills and fallen off cliffs. It has even survived being rifled through by the Russian security services.
