I discovered that the reason I couldn't find my meet up toot is that it's been sitting in my drafts folder for several weeks! I'm going to post then edit to tag everyone.

** EDIT ** Fuck. I realised that (a) 16/6 is a Tuesday, I vaguely remembered that it was a Friday but nope. (b) I may not be able to make it (though I can probably arrange cover). I'm going to put a poll in to see if Saturday 20/6 works better **

Hey is it time to think of a #beigeParty meet up for 2026? I guess the default is a #beigeMeetupLondon but have beige will travel if there are other suggestions. (and it would be fun to go to Tooting this time if London)

My default date suggestion is 16th June, as weather should be better and it's exactly 6 months until John Mastodon Day but if anyone has travel plans we could work around that.

And of course we can do a vidcall to any far flung beigers like last time.

OK people. I've tried to collate a list of everyone who's mooted a Beige.Party meetup in London (with help from @amiserabilist). We're thinking about a meetup in London in perhaps May or June. This may be the thread that manages to get us organised, plus some suggestions

1. If you don't want to be on this list, please let us know and we can remove you from the thread. Conversely if you know someone is interested, please tag them and I'll add them to The List. And if you don't want to come but are interested in how it pans out, feel free to linger!
2. Please tag any posts with #beigeMeetupLondon so we can find them again in the future
3. If any has any suggestions for tools (on or off Mastodon) to make this easier than herding cats, please shout!

Datewise, we'd probably want (a) after 13 May as @wendinoakland will be here (b) not a bank holiday weekend (c) before summer holiday season kicks in. If you have any strong date preferences, or will be travelling substantially, let us know and we can try to fit around.
