Ooof this is a hard one. It's impossible to ignore that the world is shit right now. I am personally afraid to travel to the US for this, even though work has offered to compensate my expenses. I am aware so many others outside the US have similar thoughts. The Blender community is a place I found solace, friendship, & eventually employment.
