Was talking to some statisticians today and realized d-separation meant different things for Bayesian Network folks and Structural Casual Modeling folks. #causalinference #statistics #graphtheory

For the #bayesnet folks, d-separation between nodes A & B for a fork (fig2) & collider (fig 1) is the same. This is not the case when we are thinking of these DAGs as Causal Bayesian Network.
