Also, kudos to Mayuzuki for including a fantastic character with differences of sex development. I mean, I'm not 300% sure whether their portrayal is fully accurate or not, as that's not for me to evaluate, but if nothing else, they're nearly as cool and complex as Richard from #BaraouNoSouretsu. And they're allowed to have their own dramatic love story, too, just like the main (cishet) characters, Reiko and Hajime.

Will probably finish #BaraouNoSouretsu soon. The #anime adaptation is flawed, of course, but if nothing else, Saiga Mitsuki is PERFECT as Richard. I'm enjoying her performance immensely. 💜

I'm watching a bunch of #anime from my enormous backlog, including #BaraouNoSouretsu. It's really... odd? It's based on a #manga I'm very fond of, so the plot is good, but... it's practically a slideshow most of the time. The character designs are perfectly serviceable, and I actually like the backgrounds and the voice cast a lot, but there's barely any movement.
