As you might have heard, the Community of Squatted Prosfygika in Athens is currently fighting against a threat of eviction.

In order to resist the state’s plans to turn this lively self-organized neighborhood into so called "social" housing, Aristotelis Chantzis, a member of the community is on a hunger strike until death.

But still, after more than 46 days of hunger strike, the regional government of Attica hasn't reacted and doesn't seem to back off.

Following the Demands of Aristotelis, we also demand:

-the immediate cancellation of the Plan of the Region of Attica!
-All residents of Prosfygika to remain in their homes!

This is why we as borderless collective decided to do a symbolic hunger strike in support of Aristotelis.

Wie ihr wahrscheinlich schon gehört habt, kämpft die Gemeinschaft des besetzten Prosfygika in Athen derzeit gegen eine drohende Räumung.

Um sich den Plänen des Staates zu widersetzen, dieses lebendige und selbstorganisierte Viertel zu sogenannten "Sozialwohnungen" umzuwandeln, befindet sich Aristotelis Chantzis, ein Mitglied der Community, im Hungerstreik bis zum Tod.

Doch auch nach mehr als 46 Tagen Hungerstreik hat die Regionalregierung von Attika noch nicht reagiert.

Wir fordern Aristotelis folgend:

-Die sofortige Beendigung der Pläne der Regionalregierung Attika!
-Dass alle Bewohner*innen von Prosfygika in ihrem Zuhause bleiben können!

Deshalb haben wir als Borderless Kollektiv beschlossen, einen symbolischen Hungerstreik zur Unterstützung von Aristotelis durchzuführen.

♿️ Accessibility information for B-Lage: Step with a mobile ramp at the entrance door. The bar inside has no steps. The toilet is too narrow to enter with a large electric wheelchair. The event will take place in the back room. There will be no smoking there during the event; afterwards, smoking indoors is permitted again.

🚰 Most of our drinking water comes from the Spree. But the Spree has a problem:

It consists largely of mine water pumped out from the open-cast mines in Lusatia.

And when the coal phase-out finally comes, the water is also set to be pumped into huge lakes. What will be left of the Spree then?

☠️ And then there’s the pollution. The pharmaceutical companies are now expected to pay, but they are fighting back.

♿️ Barriereinfos B-Lage: Stufe mit mobiler Rampe an der Eingangstür. Die Bar innen hat keine Stufen. Das Klo zu schmal um mit einem großen Elektrorollstuhl reinzufahren. Die Veranstaltung wird im hinteren Raum stattfinden. Während der Veranstaltung wird dort nicht geraucht, danach ist das rauchen drinnen wieder gestattet.

🚰Unser Trinkwasser stammt zu großen Teilen aus der Spree. Doch die Spree hat ein Problem:

Sie besteht zum Großteil aus dem abgepumpten Grubenwasser der Tagebaue in der Lausitz.

Und wenn endlich der Kohleausstieg kommt, soll das Wasser auch noch in riesige Seen gepumpt werden. Was bleibt dann noch von der Spree?

☠️ Und dann ist da noch die Verschmutzung. Die Pharmakonzerne sollen jetzt zahlen, aber sie wehren sich.
