Thank you everybody for all the hugs and well wishes.

Even though #Aylin was a helper dog (of a blind friend) and I only got to know her in 2021, we became really close and she, according to my friend, loved me more than anyone else bar my friend herself.

She was 14 years old, and she will forever have a very special place in my heart.

I will miss her... 😢

Goooooooooooooooood Morning, Fediverseeeeeeerse! It it is ice cold here, outside. There is something white that looks like snow, but so little that it just looks ugly.

It is cold.

I could just go back to bed and sleep the whole day.

But first, I have to work, and second I have to walk #Aylin, the helper dog, around noon.

Oh, did I say it is cold outside? Ugh...

#Aylin, the helper dog of a blind friend, which I walk twice a week, had surgery. We were afraid that she might have cancer. But luckily, the results came back negative, it wasn't cancer and she is well again.

And today, for the first time ever(?) I'll be walking her on a Saturday, my wife and I are excited to see Aylin again, after two weeks of hiatus, and I am sure Aylin is even more excited.

And the blind friend? Well, her words: "I'm ok if Aylin is ok, I don't need anything else to be ok."

NB: Aylin is, technically, already retired. But unfortunately, she can't officially retire because then the organization behind wouldn't get any money for her anymore. And that would've required my friend, M--, to get a new helper dog so that the organization keeps getting money. But she wanted to keep Aylin even after Aylin's retirement, not working her, but just because she has fallen in love with Aylin. Thus, a decision was taken: Aylin will never retire - officially - but won't work anymore, unless absolutely necessary. And so Aylin enjoys her "non-retirement" and once or twice a week, she "works" by leading M-- to the doctor or to the post office. My friend M-- herself is already retired long time ago, so they spend the time together, the two amazing old ladies...

Today, so far:

07:00 - Wake up
07:10 - Leave bed
07:20 - Switch on coffee machine (#LoveOfMyLife was cuddling with #Batman so she forgot to switch on the machine)
07:45 - Make coffee
08:05 - Back to work

But today I have a break from 12:30 - 14:00, walking the beautiful helper dog #Aylin.

Yay for Euphoria!!!

Today is the first day I went whole day without a push-up bra and when I went for my walk with #Aylin, I felt awesome - the jiggling was amazing, but also looking down and seeing two beautiful enbies with a nice cleavage?? Priceless!!!
