So, I got a bit of a #GameBoy gem today!

Something I wish I had picked up on the 3DS virtual console store when I saw it years ago, because honestly, this one is pretty good!

#AvengingSpirit is a pretty unique game, and this arcade port is quite fun. You play as a ghost, trying to rescue the girl, your former girlfriend, from the Mob who had previously killed you.

So how will you get your vengeance and save the girl? By possessing people and platforming your way to glory!

Honestly, the possession mechanic really makes this something special, allowing you to possess any non-boss enemy in the game. Each enemy has their own stats in terms of speed, jump height, and attack power.

It offers a pretty decent challenge and really deserves to have some kind of... Spiritual successor 😂😂😂
Also, that American box art, it really cracks me up and does no justice to this amazing game!
