Had a lovely evening 'singing for our fancy supper' at the Chorus Austin Diamond Anniversary Gala (60 years of music!) It was so much fun getting to sing with many peeps I haven't performed live with since pre-pandemic days, and pop music / musical and cabaret music is always a special bonus treat. Many thanks to all who attended and donated to support another 60 years of symphonic choral awesomeness.

Heading down to the Mohawk in Austin tomorrow night to see Brownout. The band has been around for 20 years and while I learned of them through their excellent Black Sabbath covers (with a Latin Funk twist), they have a deep portfolio of original music as well.

Finally get to see them live. Looking forward to it!
