It seems I have come to the (five page long) paragraph which summarizes the aim of this expansive work.
And each time I find some deeper meaning in Proust I can feel John Ashbery having read and poeticized the same idea.
Ashbery truly was a Proust fanboy.
And maybe these passages even confer hope on this unproductive poet.
