The third Archaeogaming Hackathon has wrapped up in Kiel! 🎮⛏️ Four students came together at Kiel University's Institute for Pre- and Protohistory and built "Kieler Küstenfische" — a two-level RPG connecting a present-day coastal rescue excavation with the Mesolithic past. The aim of the workshop is to bring together a broad range of researchers and practitioners who are interested in archaeology and games, from interpretive mechanics, puzzle design, games and play preservation, to reception studies, code archaeology and field studies.
