Includes an arbitration clause. You can opt-out. There's a deadline: 30 days from when you first accept this agreement, which means 30 days after Feb 20 if you already have an account.

You have to mail them a form (no e-mail option); they have a form you can fill out and print.

For users who had not previously agreed to the User Agreement, this agreement is effective upon acceptance. The previous amendment to this User Agreement was effective for all users on August 28, 2025.

FYI - if you have a #Yahoo account or an account with any of their "family of companies" (#AOL, #Rivals, #Engadget, #InTheKnow, #TechCrunch, and #Makers), you have until April 6 (or maybe a day earlier) to opt out of the binding arbitration agreement that Yahoo recently added to their Terms of Service. The way to opt out is to e-mail [email protected] with the subject line “ARBITRATION OPT-OUT”.
