Because I can't find them.
And while my gut reaction is "Why does the world's biggest tech company have such shitty #UX designers?", reality quickly kicks in.
It's the same reason #Amazon makes its "Add to list" button text-only and as small and inconspicuous as fuck.
Obfuscation is a design principle.
It's #antiUX.
It's #SUX (ShareholderUX), driven by Click Now, Watch Now, Buy Now.

Why is it that, over the last year or so, many websites have stopped displaying correctly in the browser on my phone?
Just kidding. I know the answer! It is to force me to use their "apps."
(Where "app" means just enough IP to criminalize adversarial scraping.)
Still sucks.
In today's episode of "I hate the web" is this checkout form displaying important information as placeholder text on text input. To add insult to injury, the placeholder text is truncated and is impossible to see in full without inspecting the source.
To their credit, they have added an aria-label which has the full text.
Versuche, dem Schwiegervater am Rechner zu helfen. Stelle fest, dass es bei T-Online für Webmail keine brauchbare URL gibt. Wer sie bookmarkt, landet immer wieder im tollen Werbe- und Agenturmeldungsportal.
