We discussed adding back support for the 'alternate link' tag in #AntennaPod. Past versions allowed users to easily switch between e.g. a video and audio version of a podcast when subscribing.

Support for it got dropped with another change and I felt we should add back support for this long-standing standard.

Alas: it's hardly used (if at all) nowadays. I guess all video just is on YouTube now.

Die 📻 Podcasting-Plattform #Castopod erlaubt es den Besucher:innen komfortable Links für deren Podcast-App bzw. Plattform bereit zu stellen. Im Fall der tollen, datensparsamen, freien #AntennaPod-App muss man dafür einen Link erstellen und im Podcast hinterlegen. Das habe ich mal (u.a. für mich selbst 😉) hier https://grupp-web.de/cms/2026/06/15/in-castopod-einen-in-antennapod-oeffnen-link-einfuegen/ dokumentiert.

Die Möglichkeiten der automatisierten Archivierung – Einstellbar pro Podcast – passen doch mehr zu meiner Nutzung.

Ist schon seltsam, dass andere Podcasts Angebote wie hr2 Jazz, zwei ander (WDR 3 Giantsteps oder Götz Altmanns Geheimer Garten) problemlos in #Antennapod angezeigt werden.

Warum diese Beschränkung wieder eingerichtet wurde? Reichweitenmessung? Lässt sich anscheinend nachträglich abschalten.

You’re right, the option is not in the Settings. It’s on Add podcast > Discover more > … > Hide. I can see why a user who feels negatively about suggestions would not think of looking there, as they are not looking to “discover more”.

Enfin il est à noter que #VLC y fonctionne, mis à jour régulièrement. Il faut vraiment remercier leur devs, comme ceux de #AntennaPod et #SkyTube qui grâce à leurs efforts de maintenir les app à jour sur ces vieux supports obsolètes, abandonnés par tous, évitent à nos vieux appareils de finir à la poubelle ;)

En revanche, #SkyTube Legacy mis à jour y fonctionne. Mais, surtout, #AntennaPod y fonctionne parfaitement au plus grand plaisir des mes gamins qui peuvent écouter: Les Odyssées , Bestioles, Les aventures de Tintin, Mythes et Légendes, etc... :)
