Aircraft of the week from SkyChart: the Turlov Tu-104.

When Aeroflot debuted it on Sept 15, 1956, it became the only jet airliner in scheduled service anywhere on Earth. The Comet 1 had been grounded after the 1954 crashes, and the Boeing 707 was still two years out. The Tu-104 borrowed wings and engines from the Tu-16 bomber.

In-game: 1956 unlock, 2,750 km range, 70 seats, 800 km/h.
