"Banned chemicals dieldrin, DDE detected in bodies of magpies. About 30 magpies were taken to a vet after showing signs of paralysis and weakness, with nine dying in care.The Environment Protection Agency found traces of two chemicals that have been banned since the 1980s and 1990s."
