Speaking of my previous toot [1] about old Usborne books [2], I have just learned from the book How to Make Computer-Controlled Robots [3] that you could easily simulate

ON value GOSUB line1, line2, [line3…]

with

GOSUB line1*(value=1)+ line2*(value=2)[+ line3*(value=1)…]

(See logical page 37 — printed as 35 — on [3])

I guess the same works for ON GOTO…
