It's a bad idea.
I also flagged the dozens of unfilled Affordability Taskforce recommendations that this council is still sitting on their tufts on.
My frustration? My rent has gone up 33% and council is paralyzed.
While many of the councillors campaigned on a certain viewpoint in the rezoning debate, is there anything that would sway their viewpoint? After all, there's this notion of being amenable to persuasion... #yyc #yyccc #calgary

Tonight I joined city council to chat about the push to repeal the zoning changes that were originally part of the 39 recommendations of the Housing Affordability Taskforce from 2023.
It was done on behalf of the Downtown Core Neighbourhood Association.
