Repeal of the 2024 changes to zoning — and returning to 60%+ of my city being single family homes and *only* single family homes is horrifying.

Banning building homes is not a strategy, #yyccc. #yyc

Those who supported repealing rezoning are the same people who are going to be upset when millions in Federal funding is revoked and will also be infuriated in 20-30 years when the additional infrastructure built to support the sprawl this decision will result in requires public funds for maintenance (given that we already can't pay to maintain our existing infrastructure)

@RantingCanuck It's a mess — and these city councillors are making it so much worse.

- HAF / CMHC funding is gone,
- Housing types of so many varieties are gone, and,
- The affordability agenda has been dumped.

I'm horrified.
