This is a picture that needs to be sent to city design teams working on any bike infrastructure projects that propose curb separated bike lanes that are separate from both the roadway and sidewalk. It is a stupid design when it comes to winter snow maintenance. #yycbike #yyccc

I just sent a copy to [email protected] for consideration in their final design for 26Ave SW but I fear that project is too far along or will be informed that an alternaive design is too expensive...
