#day7 Favourite character of 2023: Bo-ra / Deborah

Yoo In-Na did a wonderful job impersonating this character through her multiple plot crisis and transformation. She goes from the influencer with a supposedly perfect dating life, absolutely confident in her strategy to tie a man in marriage, to the crazy girl ruining her life and image because of emotional wrecks.

Also the best kiss of the year!

Lived up to its high rankings on MDL & Viki. *Beautiful* cinematography, iconic scenes referenced in many other dramas, great acting, tropes, humor, the best bromance ever, great 2nd couple, coats galore, outstanding OST, past lives, supernatural beings, agony, joy, & fate.

Most complaints are about the age difference between the leads. The actors were 37 & 25, but Kim Go Eun played a high schooler so convincingly that it felt a bit uncomfortable. She ages 10 years in the show & he doesn't, so it worked for me.

How long do you atone for past sins - especially in a previous life? How long must you carry the guilt? Are some sins unforgivable? What would you sacrifice for love? The show brings up a lot of weighty questions. The writing is mesmerizing at times & very witty.
