J'ai récemment découvert Saintes, alias Anne-Sophie Le Creurer, via son dernier album, sorti en 2023 : une synthpop très réussie, qui m'a incité à creuser un peu.

J'ai bien fait : son premier album, en 2013, résonne d'un #postpunk frontal, sans concessions, mais ouvert néanmoins à des influences a priori inattendues. On pense ainsi très fort au Jesus & Mary Chain sur "Realms you've hidden", mais aussi sur "Cette fille", mélodie franchement #yeye à la base mais sur fond de guitares saturées.

Vraiment pas banal, dans le genre...
