This great swimming hole is only a 20 minute drive away. It's great to get there with friends, an Maron. On weekends and after school lets out a lot of people come, but it's nice and quiet at other times. It was too hot to just lay around enjoying nice and quiet though so there was some cannonball practice. But the splashing or noise or deep water must make Maron anxious. No one was there so I let her off the leash to better chase frogs and bugs. She great for keeping the big biting flies away. But she disappeared!! She was gone for so long I decided to try driving around to find her. There she was curled up under the car waiting to go home, excited about getting back into the car! It took a while to convince her that it's much more pleasant by the stream under the forest canopy. But hopefully she's used to it by now. Later one of her 5yo people buddies came and that helped her relax during the cannonball splash attempts..
