It's one of the pillars of white cishet male edginess, alongside 4chan.

Even as of recent there's shit like "[homophobic slur]warts school" on the front page.

This is more personal for me than most other edgy sites because I used to frequent YTMND. I had to throw away my morals just to fit in with the community, when I was 15. But no more. I will not turn the other way at bigotry just to fit into communities.
