@KenWalkerQB I moved from #LastPass to #Bitwarden back when the former killed #Xmarks. Love it. What problems do you have with @bitwarden’s UI?

@zarchasmpgmr @epixoip @sc00bz Ahh, now I remember why *I* dropped them.

Everyone was grateful when #LastPass saved #XMarks from insolvency, but they were a poor fit and barely did anything other that fix the occasional bug. Then LastPass was acquired by #LogMeIn (#GoTo considered harmful) as an even worse fit, LastPass’s breach troubles accelerated, and two years later they gave all of a month’s notice before shutting down XMarks.

D'un autre côté, #Xmarks a toujours manqué de transparence... Du coup, je bascule sur #Sync qui remplit son rôle...

Avec le passage de #Firefox à la version 56, #Xmarks n'est plus fonctionnel... Et d'après les commentaires, la version bêta bugue à mort... 😕

I'm looking for something that can !self-host browser bookmarks for #Firefox, #Palemoon, #Chromium, #Opera. Is there a server + extensions that does this? Years ago, I used #Xmarks, but they were owned by the same company that owns #LastPass, so I'm not confident that my bookmarks would be private. (If I wanted public bookmarks, I'd use whomever bought #Del.icio.us.)
