TBH, my instinct is usually to write romance where sex isn't considered until after the end of the story, but I'm not opposed to either option. I do think sex scenes need to be load-bearing if included, though. #WritingLifeMonthly
#WritingLifeMonthly#Day30 Since I’m resuming work on my #TimeTravel epic in 2025, I have oodles of goals this year. For June, I’m blown off most of them to do since volunteer work.
#WritingLifeMonthly#Day29 This is another area in which I am guilty. I’ve had people ask if my descriptions are literal or metaphorical, which tells me I am missing that mark.
#WritingLifeMonthly#Day28 As a reader, I don’t like every ending to be a zinger. (I remember a NF biography of a CEO that was excruciatingly zingy.) But I do like throwing a right hook from time to time.
#WritingLifeMonthly#Day26 I’m never one to info dump. I like sprinkling info in little nibbles, even if they come with a bite of chili pepper also sprinkled with them.
