Earlier today, I attended an interesting live panel (over Zoom) at #WriteHive2024. This was about 'Using Non-Fiction Venues to Help Promote Your Fiction Writing' and was delivered by #horror writer and academic Rhonda Jackson Garcia. #conference #writers

Enjoyed watching Nicholas W. Fuller's interview of #WriteHive2024 Guest of Honour, Zamil Ahktar, author of Gunmetal Gods. It was a very smooth and comfortable interview - it almost felt like the attendees were seated around a coffee table as the interviewer and guest spoke. :)

Forgot to mention earlier that I had attended the 'Marginalization and the Querying Process' panel at #WriteHive2024, with panellists Keir Alekseii, Lauren Davila, Salinee Goldenberg, Patchree Jones and Adria Bailton (moderator). Some interesting topics covered there but it was good to hear that things seem to be changing for the better for marginal writers. #conference #writing

Just attended an interesting panel on 'Tackling Procrastination and Creating a Routine' with Cyndi Brec, S. Morgan Burbank, Kate DeMaio, Kristin Jacques and C.M. Lockhart at #WriteHive2024. Might check out some of the software they recommend in the course of their discussion.

Just had fun attending the 'Fear Factors: A Horror Genre Master Class' with Zamil Akhtar, Rhonda Jackson Garcia, Brad Lee and Amanda B. Weaver at #WriteHive2024. I think I'll be rewatching the presentations of this and other panels over the next couple of weeks to pick up on stuff I missed while I was commenting in the diuscussion.
