Kevin Andrews was a fundie christian who used his position on the hard-right wing of a RWNJ party to force his extremist religious views onto the people of Australia. He was a bootlicker to several terrible Prime Ministers, pushed faith-based bills through Parliament that took-away the rights of people to fairness and dignity, and he abused his trust of the electorate to enact terrible damage on the social and political landscape for 31 years.

You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep. Kevin Andrews is missed by cretins like The Mad Monk, Tony Abbott. But, I doubt many other Australians will mourn the passing of Kevin Andrews. Good riddance.

(Edit to add more info.)

Kevin Andrews is known for:
- Prominent in the hard-right "National Right" faction of the Liberal Party
- Anti abortion, and opposed RU-486
- Anti euthanasia, and overrode the rights of people in the Northern Territory to dying with dignity
- Anti feminist
- Anti equal-opportunity
- Anti affirmative-action
- Homophobia
- Vocally opposed same-sex marriage
- Pushed fundamentalist Judeo-Christian bullshit on people of other religions and people of no religion
- Meddled with the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)
- Climate-change denier
- Opposed an ETS (emissions trading scheme)
- Anti-science, and opposed stem cell research
- Responsible for WorkChoices, which was designed to erode the power of trade unions and reduce the rights of workers
- Vilified Dr Mohamed Haneef, accused him of aiding terrorists, arbitrarily cancelled his visa, then refused to apologise when the Australian Government made a formal apology

The 1823 #MasterandServantAct is remembered as unacceptable #exploitation of workers with the Victorian period.
In 2006 #union members referred to the 1823 Act in their criticism of the "#WorkChoices" industrial relations policy of the Howard lead LNP Government, claiming that "Our rights as workers are back where they were in the early 1800s - the only thing now missing is a Master - Servants Act.โ€
