The Simile Circus

My brain is like a popcorn pot,
it rattles and pops when I think a lot.
My socks are like sleepy snakes on the floor,
they hiss at my toes when I head for the door.
My cat is like a cloud with claws,
soft until she enforces laws.
My laugh is like a hiccup’s cousin,
it tumbles out in dozens and dozens.
My hair is like spaghetti in a storm,
never quite neat, never quite warm.
And my heart is like a trampoline’s spring,
it bounces too high at the silliest thing.

I would think that if CoPilot were truly self-aware, it would have compared its brain to that of the Tin Man. It is funny that it "thinks" it has toes, though.
