That said, I see no reason why the age can't be called 'Wood Age', just because it wasn't homo sapiens using the tools, it is likely that homosapiens are descended from these tool makers, and I see no reason to distinguish in a human-centric.

That said, I'm not an archeologist, more a social historian.
