Fabergé’s rare Winter Egg fetches record a £22.9 million at auction.

Fabergé’s The Winter Egg sold for nearly £23 million (€26 million) at Christie’s in London, setting a new world auction record.

Commissioned by Tsar Nicholas II in 1913, it is one of 43 surviving Imperial Easter Eggs, prized for its rarity and craftsmanship.
