Let your political leaders know selling off Public Lands would be a disaster for wildlife, Indigenous communities, clean drinking water, and all who love the outdoors.
Via #WildlifeAction.
If political leaders in 14 states have their way, the federal government would be forced to sell off public lands. The State of Utah—with support from Wyoming, Arizona, Alaska Idaho, and 9 other states—filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Supreme Court challenging our nation’s public land legacy. If successful, millions of acres of national forests, wildlife refuges and even national parks could be put up for auction to the highest bidder. It would be a disaster for wildlife, Indigenous communities, and for the millions of people who depend on public lands for their livelihoods or for recreation. Let political leaders in your state know that they must stop this dangerous action. Public lands are for all of us.
I volunteered at a Halloween party on Saturday. Wore t-shirt and shorts and still I got sweaty; the high was 84F on October 28! Yeah, it's a one-off. But it's not as unusual as it used to be.

This year we have seen extreme heat, wildfires, hurricanes, and more signs that climate change is actively impacting our communities and wildlife. It’s time we call on our leaders to take bold action on climate. Join me and sign the petition to President Biden and the Environmental Protection Agency today!

Abandoned oil and gas wells leak toxins and pose serious threats to wildlife on public lands. For too long, oil and gas companies haven’t been required to clean up the messes they leave behind. A proposed rule from President Biden would change that. Please speak up and let the President know that you support these important oil and gas reforms.
Air pollution from power plants threatens the health of our communities and wildlife.
Tell the #EPA to accept a proposed rule that will update and strengthen the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards.

Let the Bureau of Land Management know that you support the proposal to conserve wildlife migration pathways and restore degraded public lands and waters.
The Bureau of Land Management has a new proposal that would protect and conserve public lands and waters that provide important habitat for mule deer and other wildlife. Please urge the agency to adopt this proposal to protect migration pathways, reduce the risk of wildfire, control invasive species, increase forage for wildlife, improve recreation opportunities and improve landscapes so that they are more resilient in the face of drought and a changing climate.
