Noticed that the projects of techbros have very destructive downsides?

Just checking you've got Wikipedia on your list of techbro projects.

BUT (free advice follows) unless you are highly experienced in Wikipedia functioning, know how the rules are written to defend orthodox and public relations-supported positions, have resources to cope with bullying, etc - then do not go to Wikipedia and edit the article.
You'd be putting yourself in danger.

Juries seem worth trying.

Though it wouldn't directly overcome ignorance, poor investigative skills, conflict avoidance and going off half cocked.

But it could possibly disrupt corrupt and self-serving interpretations of Wikipedia policy & guidelines by groups of high-involvement editor/admins.
(Though I fear that such groups would fairly quickly find ways to reassert their dominance in their chosen fields.)

How I Tamed My Timeline

Biggest step: Unsubscribe from overly popular hashtags.

Smaller steps:
1. Question the ethics of the Wikipedia project in relation to unsafe working conditions for editors due to the prevalence of bullying. #WikipediaBullying
2. Use the hashtag #GenocideJoe.
3. Oppose the genocide in Gaza with #GazaGenocide.
4. Block almost any account seen normalising genAI use.

My Timeline now flows gently.
Genocide is now rarely normalised.
Bullying is rarely treated as irrelevant.
