Just finished listening to What We Can Know by Ian McEwen. I didn't think I was going to like it at first - all the literary references were a bit high brow for me. But I LOVED the perspective - academics in 2119 studying literary events of now. The little details of imagined life in the future after massive upheavals caused by climate change/war are brilliant. And in the end the story pulled me in too...
