I don’t have words to explain how anyone thinks this is okay, or how they sleep at night.
There’s no need for #WhaleMeat. The industry is losing money. Most Icelanders oppose it. But beyond all that, the #suffering is unimaginable. How can this be acceptable?
When we should be protecting life and restoring balance to our planet, this decision mocks compassion, it mocks evidence, and it mocks the future. Iceland’s new government must reverse this.
This must stop. Forever.
