The last line of this is one of my favorites, maybe my favorite ending line of anything really.

It stuck with me way after I read the story the first time and was a big part of why I suggested it for the group.

It's just such a cute, weird little twist.

And it makes me want to know more about Yannick, how he would have reacted if Norman had sought him out instead, etc.

Also I want to read his book.

I really like the vague references to the future, mostly in terms of things that are wrong here.

For example:
- We still treat animals like pets. I want to know more about the future animals.
- "β€œAt twenty-four, I was barely old enough to stand trial."
- People still "have to" communicate by text message.

Time travel, anarchist politics, and...justice? revenge? Also, what makes a place home. The future is weird.
