I am at the townhall regarding the transfer of the Manhattan Project’s #RadioactiveWaste to Van Buren Township in #WayneCountyMI . It is standing room only. This is one of the few times in recent years both Democrats and Republicans are united.
The summation seems to be that:
1. New York no longer wanted the #NuclearWaste waste,
2. #Michigan is cheaper than other locations
3 There are no state laws preventing this
4. There is nothing area residents can do about this relocation.

JLH‼️🧵 1. They have #Trump on tape trying to stop Wayne County, Michigan — which includes #Detroit — from certifying that Biden won the county in the 2020 election. That might have stopped the state from certifying that Biden won the state.
