Here is Jay Patton’s report on the Lake Almanor/ Indian Valley fault earthquake swarm of 2013 with the largest magnitude earthquake, a magnitude of M = 5.7. It gives a nice history of the swarm and places the Indian Valley fault as part of the Walker Lane fault system.

Update: Jay Patton places this latest earthquake along the Skinner Flat fault or Butt Creek fault, just to south of Lake Almanor, and extensions of the Mohawk Valley fault. This may change as they find out more.
