Once upon a time these would probably have been fishermen's huts, where they kept their tackle, mended their nets. Now they are holiday retreats for the rich. They sell for more than a house around where I live.

Watched #FakeOrFortune last night & made a weird connection to my childhood. Realized I spent the summer of 1980 in the #Freud sea side retreat in #Walberswick. Didn't know the family before visiting England. I was 8 & a bored only child who wanted to meet people. Probably the best #summer of my childhood filled with #art, history, crabbing & lots of horseback riding. The family gifted me a horse. I named him Jason. I was so sad when my parents told me he wouldn't fit on the plane back to 🇨🇦. Lol
