This might be the most iconic yo-yo performance of all time.
Filmed yesterday at the World Yo-Yo Contest in Prague, Hajime Miura’s winning 3A performance stood out for its bold use of ambient music, with the crowd's reactions filling in the quiet spaces.
There were big dramatic tricks, along with intricate tech, killer flow, and regens that blurred the line between 2A and 3A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDkv-vkml1Q #WYYC #yoyo

I almost illustrated his tablecloth trick until I found the next two links.

While Mir Kim won the 1A title at this years #WYYC, his sister, Miri Kim, won the Women's Freestyle division with this stunning #yoyo routine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpgHMDw5GaA
This is the first time two siblings have both held World
Champion titles at the same time. In a year or two, we might even see the two competitors go head to head in the 1A division.
The 2023 World Yo-Yo Contest has come to an end. This year's event was in Osaka, Japan and had some of the most solid #yoyo performances I've ever seen. Check out Hajime Miura, the winner of the #WYYC's 3A division. 3A is a style of yo-yoing where a player does string tricks using two yo-yos. I used to find this style so clunky compared to the other divisions, but this routine might change my mind about that. https://youtu.be/BwsKpXwVMTM?t=48
