RT by @EIB: A significant milestone for #Albania 🇦🇱! The signing of the EU's 🇪🇺 largest grant to date: €136.2 million donated for rehabilitating the Vore - Hani Hotit railway line.

🛤️ This transformative project will rejuvenate 120 km of railway infrastructure and 12 stations and make travelling by train faster, safer and greener.

🚉 With a total project cost of €373.1 million, including electrification, this investment showcases the #EU's commitment to Albania's development. Funded through #WBIF grants and loans from the @EBRD and @EIB, the project will reconnect Albania with the region and EU networks, improve how Albanians travel and promote tourism through efficient, climate friendly transport.
