One of the greatest influences in the world of #Vythafjora in #theartofgods has been the poem called #TheVoluspa which can be found in #ThePoeticEdda.

Not only that, but the language I have been writing, the foundation of the whole story, was so greatly influenced by the stories of the Icelanders and the Anglo-Saxons and the Northern Tribes of Europe.

Writing a book and building a whole world and culture is tough. Hopefully the second book will be more like writing fan fic where the bones of the story are formed and I'm just adding meat to the bones.

I'm on my 2nd rewrite now and everything is changing. The story almost doesn't matter at this point because I'm working so much on building the perception of the #mythology and culture behind the people and language of #Vythafjora.
