Am vergangenen Wochenende, dem 04. bis 05. Oktober 2025, fand der Saisonabschluss der Feuerwehrjugend-Bewerbsgruppe Diesendorf–Texing–St. Gotthard im Feuerwehrhaus Diesendorf statt.

Am Samstagmorgen startete die Veranstaltung mit einem abwechslungsreichen Programm. Über den Tag verteilt wurden durch verschiedene Aktivitäten sowohl der Zusammenhalt als auch das allgemeine Feuerwehrwissen der jungen Mitglieder unter Beweis gestellt und gefördert.

Last weekend, on October 4‑5 2025, the season‑closing competition of the youth fire‑brigade team from Diesendorf, Texing, and St. Gotthard took place at the Diesendorf fire station.

On Saturday morning the event kicked off with a varied program. Throughout the day, a series of activities demonstrated and fostered both the camaraderie and the general firefighting knowledge of the young members.

At several stations the youths practiced using the portable high‑pressure pump (TS), the water cannon, and hydraulic rescue tools such as the jaws‑of‑life cutter and spreader. Later in the afternoon a simulated person‑search drill was conducted, emphasizing teamwork and vigilance.

In the evening everyone reflected together on the successful competition season. The overnight stay at the fire station provided an opportunity for friendly exchange and further strengthened the bond within the two youth fire‑brigade groups.

In summary, we can look back on a very successful competition season—a success that would not have been possible without the dedication and good cooperation of everyone involved.

Am Freitag, dem 26. September 2025, wurde unsere Feuerwehr gegen 11:00 Uhr zu einem B2-Gebäudebrand in Hinterberg 10 alarmiert. Beim Eintreffen der ersten Einsatzkräfte war der Hühnerstall bereits stark verraucht, im Inneren zeigte sich deutliche Glutentwicklung. Aufgrund des Verdachts auf einen Dachstuhlbrand wurde die Alarmstufe rasch von B2 auf B4 erhöht.

On Friday, September 26, 2025, our fire department was alerted to a building fire Level 2 at Hinterberg 10 around 11:00 a.m. When the first emergency responders arrived, the chicken coop was already heavily smoke-filled, and significant embers were visible inside. Due to the suspicion of a roof fire, the alert level was quickly raised from level 2 to level 4 (max).

Emergency responders immediately began an internal attack using high-pressure hoses, wearing breathing apparatus. At the same time, firefighters fought the fire from the outside to prevent the flames from spreading to adjacent parts of the building. To detect hidden embers, the roof ridge was partially covered, and the area was checked several times with a thermal imaging camera.

The water supply was ensured via a relay line approximately one kilometer long from the nearby fire pond. The fire department also received support from the Schweighofer company in St. Georgen/Leys, which provided equipment (pipe supports) at short notice.

Thanks to the swift and coordinated action of the fire departments, the fire was quickly brought under control. No one was injured.
