Just looking through the line up for tomorrow’s #VirtualWards Clinical Summit, it’s going to be a fantastic event. Looking forward to hearing from people at all stages of their virtual ward journey. Apt that as it’s #CarersRightsDay we are starting with a carers experience of VWs
@dr_brin Think that’s one thing that our #VirtualWards CoP has done but also makes me thing about how we link the stories that gets shared every week into the connection but also make me reflect that we need to consider how the narrative needs to provide choice on options. Not everything is adoptable but we can make the connection to how things can be adapted from a position of understanding how systems can build on change others have already made. #NHS #ServiceDesign 2/2
@kwaycee would be great to see what they think about the links across to health service models and what else they would like to see that supports integration. We only scratched the surface when we spoke to them about NHSMail If they want to know anything more about #VirtualWards you know where we are! Enjoy I bet it will be a fab day
#weeknotes (w/c 14th Nov)
Another week dominated by #VirtualWards and I am looking forward to a new team member starting next week to give us some more capacity! Some good data conversations about our service dashboards as well as our SHREWD implementation. Finally my clinical day this week was a great piece of collaboration with the MDT in ICU which, as always, forces reflection on any difficulties I might be having at the time and gives some perspective.

If you need some inspiration around why #VirtualWards can make a real impact on people and their lives have a listen to this weeks #CommunityOfPractice

Carer voice at the very centre of this, as part of a team and doing with alongside his wife and #MDT meant from 16 admissions last year they have only had to manage 3 this year.

It was truly my favourite COP and an absolute joy to chair!

@mattedgar it was your message that gave me a push! Now just need to work out how to link across servers the connections for #VirtualWards and my general curiosity seem to be across a few! Thanks Matt and thanks to your team for some cross org inspiration!
