I've just watched some videos on assembling the bicycle trailer (it's pretty basic, but I thought I'd check for gotchas).
The thing that's had me chuckling is the fact that it has removable axles - pull a safety pin, and you can remove the axle with the wheel attached.
But, the videos show people unboxing, attaching one axle, attaching the wheel, then struggling the flip the unweildly 15kg trailer+1 wheel over, before fitting the other quick-release axle and attaching the wheel.
It was simple to attach one axle, fit the wheel, remove axle+wheel, fit 2nd quick-release axle, attach 2nd wheel.
And then there's the hints about storing the 19mm spanner so that you can remove the wheel if you get a flat. You have just fitted the QUICK-RELEASE AXLES!!!
You don't need the 19mm spanner any more!
Points for using potting compound on this VSR and also points for making it the soft "re-enterable" potting compound.
Minus points for pouring it over the bloody electrical connector terminals 🤦♂️
Luckily the soft jelly is easy to scrape off, but if you don't I don't think it will cope too well with the 140A it says on the other side.
