My early "xmas" gift. Because I really needed one.
It's nice. No slop. Clamps straight. Wasn't that expensive. With a couple discounts it was cheaper than the beat up old used ones people try to sell for too much money around here.
Apart from the rotating base, it can also spin around its shaft and has a pipe clamp on the other (here bottom) side. Very handy for cutting a pipe without having to do awkward saw/grinder gymnastics.
Now I just need somewhere to bolt it too.

Got this magnetic sweeper thingie after seeing it somewhere on Fedi. Should reduce the steel, nails and bits of wire in the yard somewhat. Probably won't pull tractor parts and lost bulldozers out of the ground though.
Also can pick the nails out of the ashes with it, I think.
The magnets are inside an aluminium body, the handle on top lifts them off internally so the treasures can easily be dropped into a bucket.
The wheels are plastic running on the threaded section of a bolt, which is very stupid design. Might fix later.
