Dragon (Дракон) is a poem by #AlekseyKonstantinovichTolstoy, written in the spring and summer of 1875 and first published in #VestnikEvropy October (#10) 1875 issue (pp. 581-605). The poem (consisting of 193 three-liners) was subtitled "A 12th-century tale. From the Italian" and dedicated to #YakovPolonsky. In July 1875 Tolstoy met #IvanTurgenev and #MikhailStasyulevich in #Karlsbad and read them the poem. According to the latter.
