IRAN – Le régime iranien refuse de remettre à leurs familles les corps des prisonniers politiques kurdes, Mohsen Mazloum, Mohammad Faramarzi, Vafa Azarbar et Pejman Fatehi, exécutés ce matin à Karaj. Les mollahs iraniens vont les enterrer dans un lieu tenu secret. Le régime iranien a par le passé fait disparaitre les corps de nombreux prisonniers politiques kurdes qu’il a enterrés dans des lieux tenus secrets.
Selon des informations obtenues par l’ONG des droits humains, Hengaw, les institutions de sécurité de la République islamique iranienne ont refusé de remettre les corps de Pejman Fatehi, Mohsen Mazloum, Vafa Azarbar et Mohammad Faramarzi à leurs familles pour les enterrer, déclarant qu’elles (les autorités iraniennes) les enterreraient dans un lieu tenu secret.
Sur la base de ce qui précède, on peut affirmer que cet acte des institutions de sécurité de la République islamique d’Iran relève de la disparition forcée, un crime commis conformément au droit international.
Selon un rapport reçu par l’ONG de défense des droits humains Hengaw, au petit matin du lundi 29 janvier 2024, Pejman Fatehi (28 ans, de Kamyaran), Mohsen Mazloum (27 ans âgé, de Mahabad), Vafa Azarbar (26 ans, de Bukan) et Mohammad (Hajir) Faramarzi (28 ans, de Dehgolan) ont été excutés dans la prison Ghezel Hesar à Karaj.
Le site Mizan, plateforme officielle de la justice iranienne, a vérifié les exécutions de ces quatre prisonniers politiques.
Après 18 mois de détention, ces quatre prisonniers politiques ont eu leur première et dernière rencontre avec leurs familles à la prison d’Evin le dimanche 28 janvier 2024.
Par la suite, ils ont été transférés de la prison d’Evin à Téhéran à la prison Ghezel Hesar de Karaj pour leur exécution, au milieu de mesures de sécurité strictes.

The killing of four Kurdish political prisoners in Iran at a time when the Iranian regime aims to portray itself as guardians of the rights of the Palestinians during the ongoing Hamas-Israel war shines a light on the glaring hypocrisy of the country’s leaders.
Neither the women of Iran, nor the Kurds nor the other peoples of Iran can bear this oppression any longer.
Rather than cynically presenting itself to the outside world as the guardian of others, Iran should make peace with the peoples and women of Iran and stop spilling the blood of innocent people throughout the country.
While the peoples of Iran are silenced and brutalized, the Iranian regime’s strategy of fomenting conflict throughout the Middle East to perpetuate its existence continues unabated.

Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO); January 29, 2024: This morning, the Islamic Republic executed four Kurdish political prisoners, Mohsen Mazloum, Pejman Fatehi, Vafa Azarbar, and Hazhir Faramarzi, in Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj, despite repeated domestic and international requests to stop the execution.
Iran Human Rights strongly condemns the execution of these four individuals and calls on members of the international community to end their silence on the wave of executions in Iran. The organization also urges Nada Al-Nashif, the UN Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, to cancel her upcoming visit to Iran and explicitly state that the reason is to protest these executions.
Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, director of the Iran Human Rights, said: "The execution of these four prisoners was based on confessions under torture and without a fair trial, and is considered extrajudicial killing. Khamenei and the corrupt judiciary of the Islamic Republic must be held accountable for these murders."
He added: "The international community must show a practical response to the Islamic Republic's rampant and daily executions. The least reaction of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to the executions should be the cancellation of Nada Al-Nashif's deputy commissioner's trip to Iran."
These four prisoners were convicted of "enmity against God and espionage for Israel."

According to the Islamic Republic news website,Tasnim, on the morning of Monday,
January 29, the execution of four Kurdish political prisoners was carried out
in Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj. These four prisoners, identified as Mohsen
Mazloum, Pejman Fatehi, Vafa Azarbar, and Hezir Faramarzi,**were convicted of
"enmity against God and espionage for Israel."**
**These four Kurdish political prisoners were arrested in Urmia on June 22,
2021**, and were sentenced to death by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary
Court.
They were denied the right to meet or make phone calls with their families
and were held in an undisclosed location.
A few months after their arrest, media outlets close to security institutions
published videos of their forced confessions.
During their entire detention, these four prisoners were not allowed to meet
with their families or appointed lawyers.
**The only visit they were granted was a pre-execution meeting the day before.**
Iran Human Rights and many human rights defenders and organizations had called
for the stop and cancellation of the execution sentences of these four political
prisoners, citing the most basic principles of fair trial were not observed.
