Besides the not ready for prime-time UI changes in #macOS #Tahoe:

Does anybody know if #Calendar and #Reminders tasks integration via #CalDAV / #VTODO e.g. via #nextcloud has seen some work or is it just as broken as it has been in the past years?

I know, #Apple doesn' care about being compatible or open or supporting technology standards but let me have some hope for a week once a year only to have it shattered by the richest company on the planet 🥴

PS: Yes I am very tired of Reminders butchering Todos and then no longer updating due dates etc. If it wasn't so sad it would be highly hilarious.

@x2ero Ich hatte immer auf #VTODO geguckt, also die Implementierung der Tasks-Funktion innerhalb #CalDAV, weil die komplette "Infrastruktur" bei uns mag ich nicht wechseln. Das synct an sich sehr fein mit X Geräten und das schon ewig.
Nur gibts offenbar keine Desktop-App, die auch nur annähernd das hinbekommt, was unzählige Android-Apps schaffen, unter den besten 2x OpenSource. Ich schnall das einfach nicht... 😂 😭

Ausnahmsweise hier mal ganz ernstgemeint:
Client für #calDAV um #VTODO zu machen, was gibt es da?

Alles via #KDE-PIM hab ich glaub ich durch, #Thunderbird auch, #WebApp auch, #Evolution und ein paar andere auch.
Zwingend für mich: möglichst nativ (vs. WebApp) sowie Unterstützung von #tasks UND #subtasks.

Maßstab ist z.B.
@jtx oder #tasks (https://github.com/tasks/tasks) unter Android.

Dort kann man mit Einträgen via dragndrop hantieren, am #Desktop geht das nicht, nichtmal strg+x & strg+v 🙁

With jtx Board 2.2.0 you can now change the app bar behavior to either search for entries or quickly create a new entry in a predefined collection 🤩

Oh, warte, das geht doch bestimmt mit diesen tollen freien Programmen, die alle auf #VTODO setzen. So wie #jtxboard & #DAVx5 auf Android, nur als Desktop. Hmmm, #Thunderbird vielleicht?
